A regular performer on German television, Jochen Brauer has brought the classics of American jazz to German audiences for more than three decades. Accompanied by his band, the Organizers, Brauer continues to survey the full spectrum of twentieth-century music with a repertoire spanning "I Can't Give You Anything But Love", from the long-running Black musical, Blackbirds Of 1928", to the Beatles' Yesterday and the Phoebe Snow-popularized, "Teach Me Tonight".
Recordings made by Brauer and the Organizers between 1957 and 1965 were reissued on the Bear Family album, Great Music, Great Memories.
