Joey Altruda is a Ska man trapped in the land just south of loungetown and west of jazzville. Instead of throwing down his very dry martini and claiming defeat, he only surrenders half of himself to the forces that surround him, and instead calls a truce by getting everyone in the act. The end results are frothy concoctions that call for dimming the lights, easing into a loveseat, and nodding along obligingly with bass that sways easily beneath simmering horns.
