Spanish rock band Kalean burst into the Basque scene in the early '90s, coming in second place after participating in the well-known Villa de Bilbao contest. They soon played at a new local band festival, having the opportunity to sign up to an independent label called Feroz and recording Imposible Razonar in 1991, followed by Solo Intento Escapar, which was released in 1993 by Avispa.
