Kehlani Ashley Parrish, who goes by just her first name, is an American R&B and hip-hop performer from Oakland, California. She first gained attention as a member of the pop group Poplyfe, who appeared on the television series 'America's Got Talent' in 2011. She left the group to pursue a solo career and released a mixtape titled 'Cloud 19' in 2014. She toured with rapper G-Eazy and in 2015 released her debut album 'You Should Be Here' which reached number two on Billboard's Top R&B Albums Chart. 'SweetSexySavage' (2017) topped the chart, reaching number two on the R&B/Hip-Hop Chart. Her 2016 track 'Gangsta' went to number six on the Hot R&B Songs Chart and number 13 on the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs Chart, 'CRZY' (2016) peaked at number eleven on the R&B Songs Chart and 'Distraction' (2016) reached number 13. 'Good Life' (2017) with G-Eazy went to number eight and she featured on Cardi B's 'Ring' which went to number 17 on the R&B/Hip-Hop Chart and with Lil Yachty on Calvin Harris's 'Faking It' (2017), peaking at number seven on the R&B Songs Chart. She released a single and video titled 'Nights Like This' featuring rapper Ty Dolla $ign in January 2019.
