Know Itself is a the electronic project of Canadian producer Evan Sidawi. Originally from Toronto Know Itself relocated to Berlin in 2019. The music blends elements of techno, house, and melodic chillwave with live vocals. Know Itself derives its name from a Carl Sagan quote in the original Cosmos TV series: “We are made of star stuff. We are a way for the cosmos to know itself”. All the music is produced and performed live using an Akai MPC Live, synthesizers, and vocals.
