Kody Killam is an American rapper and songwriter, who has spent the majority of his life and entire music career on the east coast, specifically the DMV area. Although his exact origins are uncertain, due to his early life in foster care, he hails from Houston, Texas. but grew up in King George, Virginia after being adopted. Pursuing a music career, he moved to Maryland with some close friends who shared the same goals, and began recording his poetry, that he started writing at a very young age. Over a decade later, those same friends are now family, and the fruits of those endeavors persevere here, starting with his first single "Familiar Stranger feat. H3B3M", officially released May 9, 2020.
Although involved with all aspects of the music, he prides himself on the writing, that reflects the harsh reality that surrounds him. Dedicating the music to those who are struggling to wake up everyday, but does so, to make the world a better place. Striving to make each moment, of everyday as meaningful and memorable as possible. He ends every interaction with a smile and his catchphrase, "Have a Legendary Day". Kody's passions include, aquariums, outside ponds, his aquatic turtle Squirttles, card games, microbiology/biology, PlayStation, of-course music, and his wife, whose favorite quote in regards to him is "there is never a dull moment".
