In 2018, at just 16 years old, KØKØ released his debut single “Dragun”, without a major label backing or prior experience in the music industry. He amassed an unbelievable number of streams for a newcomer, mainly due to his charming voice and charisma. As a follow up to his debut release, KØKØ stepped out of the music scene for some time due to personal reasons.
Since he made the announcement earlier this year, his debut EP— ‘AKIRA’ has been highly anticipated, especially as a formal introduction to køkø’s unique sound and the world of music. The EP houses 5-tracks, including 1 of the previously released tracks, “Good Enough” and the “Luv Badgals” remix featuring Buju. The music speaks on the teenager’s flair for romantic expressions and it is infused with instantly catchy melodies that will get you moving.
