Kommunity Fk were among the first generation of L.A. "death rock" bands such as Christian Death and 45 Grave. 1985's Close One Sad Eye on Cleopatra is classic Goth -- ashen atmospheres, the same smoldering guitar sounds as early Cure, and downcast dance rhythms. More recently, founder Patrick Mata has been focusing on solo projects while continuing to perform with Kommunity Fk.
