A prolific bedroom pop boy band based in New York City,
Laundry Day formed during their freshman year of high school and released a trio of D.I.Y. albums in the late 2010s that merged pop, rap, alt-rock, and R&B, all before graduating.
We Switched Bodies, their first album with major-label distribution, appeared in 2022.
Etai Abramovich, Henry Pearl, Henry Weingartner, Jude Ciulla, and
Sawyer Nunes got together in 2017 during their first year at the Beacon School in Manhattan's Hell's Kitchen neighborhood. Inspired by
Tyler, The Creator and
Brockhampton, the quintet quickly formed a creative bond, recording and releasing their first two albums,
Trumpet Boy and
Keep It Right, as well as the
Light Up Shoes EP, in 2018. By the following year, they'd completed their first headlining tour and added a third album, Homesick and another EP, Light Up Shoes 2, to their growing catalog, racking up millions of streams in the process. The band signed with Warner Records and released the singles "Connect 5" and "Worry Bout Yourself" in 2021.
