Born in 1999, yodeling children's pop singer Laura Omloop found fame at the tender age of ten when she represented Belgium in the 2009 Junior Eurovision Song Contest. Finishing fourth with a rendition of "Zo Verliefd," her homeland's highest-ever placing, she then appeared on the jury the following year, released follow-up single "Stapelgek Op Jou" and debut album Verliefd, and performed the theme tune to animation series YooHoo & Friends. In 2011, she teamed up with Flemish pop singer Stan Van Samang on the single "Zijn We Alleen," which also appeared on her second studio effort, Wereld Vol Kleuren. ~ Jon O'Brien
