Elijah Liu AKA “Lijah Lu” early entry into the music arena started at ten years old. Motivated by his family’s nightly musical performances of latin classics, Lijah decided to pick up a guitar and start a journey of his own. Drawing from his mixed ethnicity of Mexican and Chinese, Lijah’s eclectic musical range is ever-evolving but lends itself to the likes of Stevie Wonder, Celia Cruz, The Red Hot Chili Peppers and Justin Timberlake.
A native of Los Angeles, more specifically Rowland Heights, Lijah attended Rowland High School where he expressed his music bug in talent shows and house parties. Lijah then felt the urge to share his gift with the world, turning to YouTube. Covering anything from Frank Ocean to Katy Perry, nothing but a spectacle of soul and feeling can describe his bedroom renditions.
Lijah is a singer, songwriter, musician, producer and independent recording artist who is a member of ASCAP and currently released his Debut EP "Grown". “Where words fail, music speaks” is a saying made famous by Hans Christian Andersen but, for Elijah they are more than just a simple string of words put together nicely.”
