Cut down before he was even in his prime, rapper and Maybach Music artist
Lil Snupe was shot and killed in his hometown at the age of 18. Born Addarren Ross and raised in Winnfield, Louisiana,
Snupe's short but promising career began to skyrocket when he handed a demo to Maybach Music artist
Meek Mill.
Mill was so impressed with the then-17-year-old
Snupe he signed him to his Maybach Music imprint Dream Chasers in early 2013.
Snupe's RNIC mixtape landed in April of that year, then on June 20,
Snupe was killed at a friend's apartment after an argument during a video game escalated into a shooting. Later that year he would be honored on
Mill's Dream Chasers 3 mixtape plus the Maybach Music compilation
Self Made, Vol. 3. In 2014, his unreleased recordings were compiled and released as RNIC 2. ~ David Jeffries
