Bands like Lyric once seemed a dying breed. In fact, it was largely assumed that bands of their ilk had long gone extinct, until a few bands with a lot of Soul and -- get this -- actual instruments (!) started gigging around. Lyric are beheading synthesizer-heavy Soul, and in its place leaving excellent musicanship and perfect vocals.
