Since 1996 the french Mary-Lou band has been playing its very unique blend of original songs mixed with folk, country, blues and rock influences. The band has been created by Mary and Jean-Luc Brosse. More than thirty musicians has played with Mary-Lou on stage and on the recordings. The band has played many times in the USA.
Today, the Mary-Lou band is Mary (vocal, guitar,fiddle, washboard), Jean-Luc Brosse (vocal, guitars, dobro, harmonica), Stéphane Dhondt (keyboards, harmony vocals) and Benoit Perset (drums, percussions and sometimes bass on stage).
Most of the set list is made of original french songs written by Mary and Jean-Luc. with folk, blues, country song influences, and some fine covers.
The band is recording its 9th album that will be released in fall 2021. He will be on the road again since the spring.
