Will Ke'Mari Jelks, better known as “ Maxx Gotti”, was born in Gary, Indiana. At a young age, Maxx Gotti was recognized as a very talented kid. His mother frequently witnessed him performing music by rap artists such as of the 90s. As a young boy growing up without his father in a rough neighborhood in Gary, he remained close to his mother and two older sisters.. He soon recognized how the music from the Midwest and the music from the South were very different. His dream was to combine both styles and pursue a career as a hip-hop artist. Maxx Gotti’s passion and love for music was revived by the inspiration of his friends who were dedicating long hours to their craft and eventually experiencing the sweet aroma of success, as a result, Maxx Gotti continued to experience a sense of emptiness.. Soon a local DJs and Producers decided to manage and produce him and help him pursue a solo career and the rest is history.
