Méke is the new musical project of writer/producers Jan Finck and Camilo Remolina.
The two colombian artists who learned their ropes in Latin America, USA, Africa and
Europe create infectuous urban music inspired on sweaty caribbean clubs. Their sound
has evolved from producing and playing in the alternative music scene, to performing at
big underground festivals like Fusion, and now demystifying latin rhythms and mixing
them into global pop.
The beats are pumping, the melodies are catchy, and the musical influence is
undeniable. Meké's music is made to make you feel at home in the club, and by at home
we mean on a beautiful caribbean party island.
Having contributed their songwriting, producing and perfoming skills to acts such as The
Ironix (Virgin/Universal) & Armando Quattrone (Electrola/Universal), Méke is now ready
to launch its first solo single „Ay!“.
