Michael Bryant is a background figure on several recordings by the groups Fluke and Rasputina. While both groups like to be a bit vague about credits, it can be surmised that Bryant is following an interest in instrumentation that is unusual, at least by the standards of rock bands: Fluke features two flutes in the front line-up, while Rasputina consists of an aggregate of cellists.
