Mimi Elsa begun to nurture her music after High School, though she had identified her potential in her early childhood.In an interview with the Voice of DECAM, Mimi Elsa states that her motivation and inspiration for what she does comes from AVMB’s quote which states, "Your potentials are potent enough to propel you into prosperity.", “Being myself has been one of my greatest strength”, she added. Her debut single, Before I Say Yes which was released on the 20th July, 2017 featured as the theme song for the first ever Single Sisters' Summit in 2017.
