Born in Portugal in 1986, with angolan parents, this R&B singer grew up in the sunny city Setúbal before moving to the rainy city of Bergen in Norway.
The self-proclaimed ”sassy soulmistress” started as a back-up singer and did studio sessions and live performances with bands such as Datarock,Kakkmaddafakka and rapper Store P. Matt Korman from the THE405 UK states: "Originally from Angola-via-Portugal, the English-speaking Miss Tati effortlessly presses her American soul and hip-hop inspirations on 'Be Free', confidently swinging between the neo-soul renaissance of THEEsatisfaction and the ever-loved Janelle Monáe. Those are high aspirations, sure, but Tati separates herself with indignant verses - proving she has something else to offer along the way."
