Nemes, a Dominican Hip Hop artist born & raised in New York, is one of three siblings raised by a single mother in SouthSide Jamaica, Queens. Nemes' love affair with Hip Hop started in Middle School with rap artist Method man’s song, “Bring the Pain”. Method Man’s phrase “Is it real son, is it really real?” inspired Nemes to question the reality of his current conditions. It sparked a fire in him to start writing music that would change his destiny. As his love for Hip Hop developed, so did his writing skills and creativity. Nemes and Hip Hop developed a love affair that only his last breath can break.
Nemes is committed to leaving a Hip Hop Legacy. Influenced by some of the greatest lyrical geniuses, his flow can be compared to legends 50 Cent and Eminem. Big Pun's success as the first Latino Hip Hop artist to obtain platinum status, made Nemes believe that Sky’s the limit. Stay tuned.
