Nique Got-It, a hip-hop artist hailing from the small Midwest town of Muskegon, Michigan, one of the most treacherous and drug-riddled neighborhoods on the Iona block, is locked and loaded with music for the streets. Nique Got-It grew up freestyling at the school lunch table, but never saw the possibility of a career in music until he went to college in Detroit, a.k.a. ‘Motown’ saw the passion, creativity, and opportunities other artists had and decided he wanted to be a part of that too. Originally aiming to project his admiration for and inspiration from his favorite rapper, Yo Gotti, he named himself ‘Nique Gotti’, but after careful consideration and a discussion with his mom, who pointed out Nique’s natural gift of being a ‘go-getter’, he came back with the stage name Nique Got-It.
It’s not hard to see why Nique has been able to accomplish all the goals he’s set for
himself. His passion, confidence, ambition, and extreme work ethic doesn’t allow for him to quit or deter from the course he’s set for his life. Nique Got-It co-founded the label CMC Ent. in 2014 be since then he has continuously invested in himself and plans to use his platform to not only secure himself financially but also be able to give back and help others build themselves to a level of success many are fighting to reach.
Nique Got-It had the privilege of working alongside such greats as Peezy and Boomman, which puts him on track to becoming the next artist to blow out of Michigan. His singles “No Regular” and “Only Child” produced by Rich Jay and the popular record “Believe It” featuring LOM Rudy has garnered national attention.
Nique’s current single “Choppa Style” is a track with a lot of flex mixed with thought-provoking lyrics off his latest project “What You Trap To”, which dropped in June 2020 showcase what Nique Got-It does best, hustlers music. He brings a raw and natural element to his music with creativity, distinct flow, and original style.
