Artist Rappin' Mitch, born Desmond Henderson, spent his youth in Charlotte, North Carolina with most of his adulthood spent in Atlanta, Georgia. The underground culture of Atlanta gravely influenced the trajectory of his sound. Starting off as a ghostwriter for many of the Atlanta’s underground talent, inspired by both Jay-Z and Gucci Mane he began his recording career in 2014. He released his debut EP CAR FULLUH HIGH SCHOOL FAILURES in 2014, afterwards releasing 1999 Jigga Demo in 2018 under his newly founded imprint 43XXVIII which included the cult record “BLK Rob”, following up with his 2019 effort GRANDE MITCHO EL DEMO with notable records like “x2”, Wingstop Coapa and “Calvo Fade” and his 2019 5 year anniversary rerelease of CAR FULLUH HIGH SCHOOL FAILURES with additional features and song mixes. Afterwards he focused on heavily promoting his TheDocumitchary.com site which serves as his personal documentary offering fans and artists alike to truly understand his journey with weekly posts documenting both life and music. As well as his reconstructing his RappinMitch.com site which is his main base for promoting new merchandise, music, pop up shops, live shows, videos and booking information. By combining personal life experiences with a production sound he coined as damp trap Rappin’ Mitch ranks among the most rousing and significant indie artists among Charlotte’s and Atlanta’s underground rap scene.
