With his enviable array of vintage synthesizers, Chicago-based multimedia artist
Rolan Vega crafts pieces ranging from lo-fi, moody ambient works reminiscent of library music and the sound of PBS in the '80s to nostalgic pop under the Ariisk moniker. Many of
Vega's works were written for his own Super-8 films, as well as the works of others, and
Vega amassed a large body of unreleased music over the years. Some of his tracks made their way to Community Library via mutual friends, and the label issued an aptly named collection of his film music,
