Bristol, England-based electronic musician who, though he has never DJed, has become in the mid-90s a name on the dance circuit through his experimental approach. Recording for Out Of Orbit, a subsidiary of Italian label ACV (Annibaldi, Armani, etc.), his work reveals a stylistic debt to the Detroit techno godfathers: ‘There’s nothing pretentious about what I do, it’s just that I have ideas which are a little different to most other people. I’m not making music which says “take ecstasy all the time”. I’m trying to think beyond that.’
