Serpil Efe was born in Germany in 1972, originally from Erzincan. She is the sister of songwriter and artist Ergün Efe. She graduated from the opera singing department by winning the conservatory in Wuppertal, Germany. She won the third place in the sound competition organized by TRT in Berlin. The artist, who has lived with music throughout her life, also plays the transverse flute.
