Formed during informal jam sessions at the Celtic Circle of Bridge the Abbot, Sonorien Du has evolved from an acoustic, folk-rooted quartet into a high-energy Celtic rock band. While their foundation continues to rest on the traditional coupling of the oboe- or bassoon-like bombard and chromatic accordion, the group has grown to include electric guitars, fiddle, drums, and keyboards. Sonorien Du has undergone numerous personnel changes and no one remains from the original group. ~ Craig Harris
