My name is Emanuel Ivan, but I've decided to publish music under the name of Sukkot. The Hebrew word sukkōt is the plural of sukkah, which stands for "booth" or "tabernacle". A sukkah serves as an admonition to man not to become overconfident because of affluence, and it symbolizes the frailty and transience of life and its dependence on God.
I believe that music is one of the most complete ways in which to share a story, an experience, a feeling, a revelation. Therefore, I discovered and started using music as a way of expressing my life.
