Talas' fame was always overshadowed by that of its star member, bass guitar bomber Billy Sheehan (later of David Lee Roth's band and Mr. Big). The band cranked out a handful of convincingly rocking albums in the 1980s. Fairly pedestrian stuff, unless you're playing in a hair metal band and need to crib a few good licks.
