Terre Roche is the high-register middle sister of the Roches' harmonic triumvirate. Content to work with her sisters for the last twenty years, Roche released a solo album in 1998. The material is similar to the Roches' critically acclaimed catalog, and the sisters appear on a number of tracks. For the newcomer, Roche offers a particularly skewed sense of the absurd, and her songs are constructed in the most melodic, songbird-like manner one can imagine. If you're a fan of the group, Terre Roche's solo material is not likely to disappoint.
