Growing up in the inner city of Indianapolis, Indiana, wasn’t easy.
Violence, poverty, and drugs plagued the community and made life very rough for those present.
thekidauto found peace and solace in music.
He began writing and playing instruments at the age of eight and even eventually joined the school band.
Later on he focused on developing his own hip-hop infused R&B sounding project that gained a lot of local buzz around Indiana.
Fast forward a few years thekidauto relocated to Los Angeles and focused on honing his craft becoming a better writer, producer and instrumentalist.
The music touches different facets of his ever so evolving life.
From love, lust, failed relationships, inner city struggle, and GOD it has been compared to artists such as 6lack and Wiz Khalifa. “I do this for the art”, something he’s lived by creating music that’s genuine from the heart.
