Tie Dye Kitty surfaced on the local scene and was going to be the start of something new, we left behind that dirty distorted guitar tone of Grunge for a more acoustic pop rock sound, in order to attempt to capture local radio who almost never spins anything out of American Top 40 music, Soca music for the carinal season and Dancehall out of Jamaica.
This again made it pointless to continue playing music in Trinidad, so after 4 shows the band went our separate ways.
However, Tie Dye Kitty would reemerge with new musicians once again, and just like before play a few shows then disappear again. This time Tie Dye kitty remains a solo act.
