Tom Cler has started to study music at the age of 5 when he first touched a keyboard. He practised the piano at the conservatory for almost 15 years and then turned into composition. He first produced electronic pop music, with the alias Bloomers, and finally listened to the first piano tracks that will make him fall in love with house music. He started composition in classic house style, trying to reproduce the vibes from artists like Masters At Work, St Germain or Paul Johnson.
He finally got interested in minimal house, focusing on the groove brought by weird percussive sounds, and then wanted to specialize his music somewhere between minimal, garage and old-school house. Currently, Thomas takes inspiration from labels like Imprints, Automatic writing and more recently Butter Side Up.
