Toxic Bonkers formed in Lodz, Poland, in 1993 and initially favored grindcore when recording their demos and first two albums, If the Dead Could Talk (1997) and Blindness (1998). But, after enduring countless lineup changes and the tragic death of friend and guitarist Konrad Sobierajski, in the year 2000 their style began leaning toward more traditional death metal with subsequent releases like 2004's Seeds of Cruelty and 2007's
Progress. The latter was released by Poland's own SelfMadeGod label and featured the lineup of Kuba Ziomkowski (vocals), Rafal Przybylak (guitar), Bartek Wojtysiak (guitar), Szymon Wlodkowski (bass), and Marcin Klimaszewski (drums). ~ Eduardo Rivadavia
