This aggressive, tumultuous and noisy band carries on the musical message of chaos, mayhem and destruction set forth by the more jarring Post-Punk bands. Like the best of them, Transmisia is a treat for those wishing to hear mean music played with a ferocity that would never find a home on mainstream radio. At times recalling Steve Albini's seminal Noise Rock band Big Black, Transmisia doesn't blanket their songs in the wall of white noise so often found in the former's music; rather, their stripped-down format of percussion (sometimes real, sometimes a drum machine), ultra-distorted bass and guitar, and painfully abused vocals benefits from a generally clear production. Nothing stands between Transmisia's brutal message and their helpless listeners.
