Fast-rising Los Angeles quartet Transviolet debuted on the scene earlier this summer with a brooding, electro-minimalistic single called "Girls Your Age," which gained lots of buzz and was described by The Line of Best Fit as "a subtly brilliant pop epic." The song also caught the attention of Katy Perry, who tweeting about it as her Song of the Day, Twin Shadow, who remixed the track, and even One Direction, which sang the chorus during a recent medley. Transviolet meet these high anticipations with a splendid collection of radio friendly pop anthems on their new, self-titled EP. Already earning comparisons to artists like Halsey, Lorde and Broods, Transviolet has surely got something big going on. Theyâre touring the U.S. this fall with Mikky Ekko.
