Vibey is a Charlotte, NC native. Born in 1995 and has been creating and composing music since the age of 10. It all started when a church member gave him a keyboard. Originally inspired by hip-hop & rap, he instantly grasped the idea of music. He began writing full rap songs to the preset beats on the keyboard and little tunes he would play along with the beat. He went on to start playing guitar & bass 2 years later at age 12 and became heavily influenced by rock & roll. He was desperate to formulate a full band but never could find consistency. He finally began producing and recording on his own at age 19. And that's when "Vibey" was set in stone. Among all the musical influences, Vibey formulated a chill-vibed, conscious, spacy sound that is still being mastered. The overall message in his music is to find peace of mind, attain a positive outlook on life and help the listener mentally escape through his sound.
