Viewfinder's multi-layered and highly textural guitar parts recall Johnny Marr's work in the Smiths; the latter's influence can also be heard in the complex song structures and pretty, lilting melodies. Sometimes the arrangements leave little breathing room, though generally the songs are lovely and well-written.
