William Tyler Metts, professionally known as Will Metty, is an American rapper, singer, and songwriter born October 4th, 1995 in New Bern, NC. Will Metty serves as the creator of a new wave of rap music; rap with depth and emotion, inspired by the greats and soaked in modernistic indie/RnB stylings. Will Metty mixes Rock, Punk, Lo-Fi, Trap, and an abundance of different styles, standing as a pioneer to the new age sound and music listeners alike. In 2017, Will Metty released his debut single “Soul”, which caught the attention of a North Carolina based record label - Hazardous Records. Before he signed to Hazardous he was already making noise in the Carolinas. Delivering his first official release through Hazardous Records, “Push It” produced by the “D.Y the Fireman” featuring his then labelmate CrosstownBeezy. In September of 2020, Metty released his first stream-tape “I Feel Great”. December 2020, Metty was released from Hazardous Records.
