The first youâll notice on Zak Abel is his deep, soulful voice, immediately leading to comparisons to the likes of Bill Withers and Gil Scott-Heron. You probably heard the Londoner without knowing it, as he laid down the vocals on Gorgon Cityâs 2014 hit "Unmissable." He teamed up with legendary Hyperdub-producer Joker for his debut EP earlier this year, and is already following up with a new collection of genre-melding tunes produced by Kaytranada, Joker and Karma Kid.
